Market Square Comes Alive: Fulcrum Property Revitalizes Iconic Center with Chow by Sac Yard and New Community Experiences

SACRAMENTO, CA — November 13, 2025 — What was once a traditional shopping center is transforming into one of Sacramento’s most engaging community destinations. Fulcrum Property is reimagining Market Square near Arden Fair Mall as a vibrant hub for connection, dining, and local experiences, bringing new life to a familiar place through thoughtful design and creative partnerships.

At the center of the transformation is Chow by Sac Yard, a collaboration between Chow Food and Sac Yard Community Tap House that pairs chef-driven comfort food with the communal energy of a local tap house. Guests will find a welcoming, open space designed for shared meals, social gatherings, and events that highlight Sacramento’s creative food and beverage scene.

The renovation will completely reimagine the former food court into a bright, greenhouse-inspired space, filled with greenery, natural light, and flexible seating that blends indoor comfort with an outdoor feel. The design reflects Fulcrum’s broader goal of creating environments where people come together to connect, explore, and enjoy new experiences.

Boot Barn will also join the mix in the first quarter of 2026, opening in the former Party City space and bringing its well-known lineup of western, work, and outdoor apparel to Market Square. Meanwhile, the Titanic VR Exhibit, now open, offers guests an immersive virtual-reality journey through one of history’s most captivating stories, merging education, innovation, and entertainment.

Construction is underway, with Chow by Sac Yard expected to open in December 2025 and Boot Barn following in early 2026.
