William Chizmar is the Chief Operating Officer of Fulcrum Property and is responsible for managing all development activities. With over thirty years in the field of real estate development, Bill has extensive experience building large-scale office, retail, residential, and hotel projects. Since joining Fulcrum Property, he has been involved in the development and renovation of projects totaling over 500,000 square feet in the Sacramento area. Recent projects include The Bridge District which involved entitlements and residential development, Market West, a 110,000 square foot shopping center anchored by the Bel Air; F-65, a 42,000 square foot mixed-use transit-oriented development; and Placer Center for Health, a 65,000 square foot medical office facility currently under construction for UC Davis Health Systems and Catholic Healthcare West.
Prior to joining Fulcrum, Bill spent seven years with Jones Lang LaSalle in New York as Senior Vice President with a focus in development in the Northeastern United States. There his projects included the revitalization of the Grand Central Terminal, New York, NY; the development of a mixed-use 250 room hotel and retail project for the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA; a 420,000 square foot suburban office campus occupied by the Oracle Corporation, Burlington, MA; and development management for the 1000 room Diplomat Convention Hotel and Resort, Hollywood, FL.
Prior to his tenure with Jones Lang LaSalle, Bill was a Project Manager for Hines and he spent two years with Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Company in corporate finance.
Bill graduated cum laude from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
