Fulcrum has developed, acquired and managed over 1,500,000 square feet of office space, primarily serving institutional and government agencies.  Government Property Fund, a Fulcrum affiliate, is currently the largest landlord to the State of Illinois and has owned and operated buildings for CalTrans and the Internal Revenue Service.  Fulcrum understands the unique requirements involved in operating and investing in governmental and institutional office properties.

In 2012 Fulcrum has undertaken a major renovation of The Cannery building in Sacramento. The adaptive re-use and modernization of this historic building is working to connect our past to our future in a transit-connected and walkable neighborhood.  100 years ago, tomato products were processed and canned in this brick and steel saw-tooth roofed building.  Today, a new high-tech office building now exists, home to several institutional tenants who agree that the patina and texture of our built heritage makes for a workplace rich in character and convenience.  Making meaningful and durable improvements to well-positioned historic real estate assets is just one of the ways that Fulcrum is working to apply smart growth principles to emerging market opportunities.
